Steve Walther

Steve is a life-long resident of Irondequoit and,
since 1971, a licensed Real Estate Broker. He has
always had an interest in photography and enjoys documenting
the changes in the landscape with aerial pictures.
While in college, Steve and a fraternity brother,
who was a pilot, started a business called Old Dominion
Aerial Photography. They photographed hotels then
marketed those pictures to the hotel chains in
Virginia.Over the past 32 years there have been occasions
when an aerial photograph of a property would be helpful
with marketing the listing. For these shots, Steve
has hired a pilot and done the photography himself. He
has been acquiring aerials photos of Irondequoit for
the past 30 years and displays them in his Real Estate
office, always a source of interest and conversation.
The Windows Project offered Steve the perfect opportunity
to further document a changing Irondequoit in the
year 2003!
