Patricia J. Mosca:
Patricia J. Mosca is a surface designer whose work
explodes with color! Her philosophy on her art is
as colorful as the pieces themselves. Patricia remembers
when she was given her first box of Crayola crayons
with the built- in sharpener. When it didn't
matter that the cat was purple or the leaves were
magenta. All she knew was that she had to use all
the crayon colors. It has taken her awhile to get
back to that youthful state of mind but now she sees
in color, color, color! Her work is both whimsical
and functional. From pouting chairs to gift boxes,
furniture, outdoor garden ornaments and flowerpots
her artwork appeals to children of all ages.
Patricia is well known for her involvement in community
art projects. She was commissioned by the County of
Monroe to paint three "Horses on Parade".
Patricia had the honor this year of helping to coordinate
"Hat's Off To You", a fundraiser to auction
artistic hats to benefit Gilda's Club.A project which
she hopes will become an annual event. Currently she
is designing a chair for the "Rare Chair Affair"
to benefit the "Breast Cancer Coalition".
Her work has been displayed at the Greater Rochester
International Airport and The Gallery at High Falls
along with other public buildings throughout Monroe
County. Art collectors from as far away as Alaska
have purchased her custom designed work. So, if you
have not yet had the pleasure to experience her work,
you owe yourself that SMILE!
Lea Rizzo:
Currently Lea is doing her art out of her studio on
Monroe Avenue. She has been winning awards for her
art work since the age of 5 and continues to design
art using many different mediums. Lea is well known
for her use of college work in her art.
She also applies her art as a skin illustrator at
JunkBot Productions Tattoo Shop. Custom designing and
executing tattoos is a completely different working
surface. However, Lea has mastered the art and is
known to do extremely detailed work.
Since moving back to Rochester from Atlanta, Georgia,
Lea has shown her work in many galleries in Rochester.
Her artwork ranges from the smallest tattoo to large
privacy screens, woman to animal portraits. She enjoys
being involved with community art project and was
commissioned by three different companies for
the "Deer on Parade". Personal collectors
enjoy her unique style from across the United States.
