I
grew up in ontario, NY and graduated from Wayne Central
High School in 1997. From there I went on to attend
Nazareth college and graduated with a BA in Sociology
in 2001. Though I have been creating pieces for many
years, it was in college that I began to find my niche.
I mostly work with recycled materials and salvaged
items, and enjoy creating one of a kind decorative
items from the "unexpected". I also occasionally
paint on canvas and enjoy decorative painting on furniture.
When it comes to working with salvaged items, my specialty
is creating unique tables from various materials including
windows, which is what I am doing with my window for
this project. Most of my work is done on commission,
but I often have a few goodies for sale at Mostly
Clay in Pittsford. I work out of a studio in my home
in East Rochester, where I live with my husband Matt
and our turtle Speedy.
