Title: "Where the Land Meets the Water"
Artist: Irondequoit Quilt Club
Window Dimensions: 53" x 50"

Ava Conchelos organized six members of the Irondequoit Quilt Club to do an applique quilt for one of the large window frames: Zylpha Siudara, Mary Lou Miller, Jean Muhl, Jocelyn Fiederer, Laurie Mundt and Ava. They are all long-standing members of the club and Zylpha (84 years young) is a well-known quilter who has appeared on HGTV's "SIMPLY QUILTS." One of her quilts is part of the opening of every program.

The Irondequoit Quilt Club was founded in 1979 and is open to everyone from quilt lovers who appreciate the art of quilt making to the most advanced quilt makers. The quilt in their window is completely hand appliqued and quilted, and the faces are all hand painted. It depicts a fanciful scene of the Irondequoit Bay.
